Abstract | The article raised the problem of studying the architectonic basis of architectural forming. The speculation is that it's necessary to study the potentialities of new engineering programs CAE (Computer-aided engineering) in detail for solving the problem. The virtual simulation of classical architectural forms has been produced. These forms had been given certain physical properties. The results of virtual experiments with simple geometric objects have been presented. Based on the technology of the virtual design optimization are offered new formation tools, the provisional name is adaptive-tectonic. The typology of the characteristic tectonic units has been designated. The need for implementation of teaching materials in the learning process of universities for architecture and design is substantiated. These teaching materials allow students to perform virtual simulation of different physical processes taking place in that they create geometric models. | ||||
