Article	TOWNPLANNING AND ARCHITECTURAL DEVELOPMENT OF SUZDAL OF 17-th CENTURY

Abstract	This article is devoted to the research of architectural and townplanning development of Suzdal of the most mysteries period, before it was rebuilt during the epoch of classicism in the second half of 18-th century. Author analyze a lot of facts and statistics of written resources, as well as not published materials of General Land-Survey of the Russian State of XVII century (census books 1617, 1622, 1628, 1646, 1678), graphic resources - icon of 1700, hand-written design of the first half of XVIII century and plans of the middle and second half of the XVIII-th century. That makes possible to describe not only the whole town with the system of urban districts (kremlin and its suburbs iside and outside the ramparts) and street structure, but gives us the detailed picture of the dislocation and arrangement of public, religious, defensive and administrative buildings of Suzdal and also tells us about it transformation, during the whole XVII-th century.
