Article CHARACTERISTIC OF THE MODERN STAGE OF GARDEN ART DEVELOPMENT

Abstract The article is devoted to the stylistic of contemporary objects of the art of gardening, created in the end of the XX- beginning of the XXI centuries. The opinion is criticized, Postmodernism is the prevailing contemporary style, accumulating the whole variety of objects. The author proposes the conception of coexistence of two lines: classical and innovative. Postmodernism is thought to be an eclectic fading stage of classical styles. The existence of another style, going up to the art of Supremacies and architecture of the Soviet Constructivism, is demonstrated on the vivid examples of the modern gardens. The article is written in the polemical style. Author’s ideas are based on the works both: of the contemporary scientists of art as well as the publications of the architects – representatives of the Constructivism.
