Article FEATURES OF FORMATION OF THE ENERGY-EFFICIENT MEDIUM-RISE APARTMENT BUILDINGS

Abstract The formation features of energy-efficient medium-rise apartment buildings are discussed in offered article. Historical and modern experience of architectural design and construction of energy-efficient dwelling is analyzed. Features of energy-efficient buildings for conditions of North-West region of Russia are considered. The basic principles of designing energy-efficient buildings are describes. The experimental model of energy-efficient medium-rise apartment building is given. In this article we discuss the relevance of energy-efficient homes in Russia and also about the role of energy-efficient buildings in the development of new rural territories. An example from building practice is resulted, proving the effectiveness of medium-rise apartment houses in the building of the rural areas of the Leningrad region.
