| Abstract |
The offered paper is to distinguish the concept of social housing and to define the demand in the social housing in Iran. The split between social housing and housing for poor is defined based on inhabitants income and the level of government support. The requirements in town housing is defined for each of level income based, the Iran town programs experience is overviewed.
From author point of view it is very important, because today state programs are focusing only on the need of 1-2 group of inhabitants, thus 3-5 group faces lack of support. So today it is needed to define the separate category of housing for poor for 3-5 group and offer them special dedicated programs. Article is based on studies of demand in social housing in cities of Iran, the state city programs of Iran. |
