Article ARCHITECTURAL DRAWING IN POSTDIGITAL AGE
Authors A. Altunian, Institute of Architecture and Design (Samara State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering), Samara, Russia
Abstract The article describes the features of architectural drawing in postdigital age. After having stated the formation of a sketch as a primary medium of reflection and visualisation for the architect of the Renaissance, the transformation of its role in contemporary architecture is investigated. The conclusion is drawn that a new conception of a digital sketch has emerged. Therefore the development of computer sketching tools is analysed.
