| Abstract |
The paper investigates the possibilities of the new educational technologies for the development of the content, methods and forms of architectural education. Publication of Open Courses Ware (OCW) in architecture made in the Moscow Institute of Architecture in 2009, in which the author participated, have shown the possibility for the further development of the additional architectural education. The paper analyzes the possibility of using foreign experience for home practice and specificity of architectural education. The accessibility of the professional architectural knowledges posed by Internet for a wide range of people involved in architectural works corresponds to the interdisciplinary feature of the architectural profession. The relevance of the architecture OCW creating is real because aimed to the improvement of the architectural education and the communication development within the professional community. They also creates the conditions for mutual understanding among participants of architectural activity through the acquisition of professional knowledge. The manager component of the educational model of the architecture OCW is the Internet – technologies. They increase the audience and making it versatile. And this fact changes the content, forms and methods of architectural education. |
