Taking into account the petitions of the European associations “eCAADe” (Education and research in Computer-Aided Architectural Design in Europe) and “EAEA” (European Architectural Endoscopy Association), the founder of the journal is the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education “Moscow Architectural Institute (State Academy)” (MARCHI).

By the decision of the Presidium of the Higher Attestation Commission of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia dated February 19, 2010, the International Electronic Scientific and Educational Journal “Architecture and Modern Information Technologies” (AMIT) was included in the “List of Leading Peer-reviewed Scientific Journals and Publications in which the Main Scientific Results of Dissertations for the Academic Degrees of Doctor and Candidate of Sciences Must Be Published”
The journal is registered with the Federal Service for Supervision of Communications, Information Technology, and Mass Media (Roskomnadzor).
Mass Media Registration Certificate: El No. FS77-66828 dated August 15, 2016 (replacing the previously issued certificate El No. FS77-47858 dated December 15, 2011, in connection with the change in the founder’s name).
The journal is registered in the Depository of Electronic Publications of FGUP NTC “Informregistr” as an electronic scientific publication. Registration Certificate No. 197 (October 13, 2008).
Since July 2012, the journal has been cooperating under an agreement with the Non-Commercial Partnership “National Electronic Information Consortium” (NEICON).
