Áèîêëèìàòè÷åñêàÿ êîìôîðòíîñòü ÿâëÿåòñÿ íàèáîëåå âàæíûì ïàðàìåòðîì è îáÿçàòåëüíûì óñëîâèåì àðõèòåêòóðíîé ñðåäû. Èçâåñòíî, ÷òî êàæäîìó òèïó êëèìàòà ñîîòâåòñòâóþò îïðåäåëåííûå òèïû ïëàíèðîâêè è çàñòðîéêè, âûðàáîòàííûå ìåñòíûì íàñåëåíèåì â ðåçóëüòàòå ìíîãîâåêîâîãî îïûòà è îáåñïå÷èâàþùèå ìàêñèìàëüíî êîìôîðòíûå óñëîâèÿ ïðîæèâàíèÿ ïðè ïîòðåáëåíèè ìèíèìàëüíîãî êîëè÷åñòâà ðåñóðñîâ äëÿ ñòðîèòåëüñòâà è ýêñïëóàòàöèè.  óñëîâèÿõ ïðîèñõîäÿùåãî ïîòåïëåíèÿ, êîòîðîå, êàê ïîëàãàþò, îáóñëîâëåíî àíòðîïîãåííîé äåÿòåëüíîñòüþ, îñîáîå âíèìàíèå ïðèâëåêàþò àðõèòåêòóðíûå òðàäèöèè ñòðàí ñ æàðêèì ñóõèì êëèìàòîì. Ó÷èòûâàÿ ýòî, â ñòàòüå ðàññìàòðèâàþòñÿ ìèêðîêëèìàòè÷åñêèå ìåõàíèçìû, îáåñïå÷èâàþùèå áèîêëèìàòè÷åñêóþ êîìôîðòíîñòü òðàäèöèîííîé àðàáñêîé àðõèòåêòóðû. Äëÿ èõ èçó÷åíèÿ èñïîëüçîâàí ìåòîä ìàòåìàòè÷åñêîãî ìîäåëèðîâàíèÿ, ðåàëèçîâàííûé â ïðîãðàììíîì êîìïëåêñå ENVI-met. Ïîêàçàíî, êàê ýòè ìåõàíèçìû ôîðìèðóþòñÿ è ðàáîòàþò â ðåàëüíûõ óñëîâèÿõ è êàê èõ ìîæíî ïðèìåíÿòü â ñîâðåìåííîé àðõèòåêòóðíî-ñòðîèòåëüíîé ïðàêòèêå.
