Article	HISTORICAL RETROSPECTIVE OF FORMATION OF THE MEDITERRANEAN ISLAND ARCHITECTURE. PART 6. THE PERIOD OF BRONZE AGE ON SARDINIA

Abstract	The article deals with the study of the architectural and construction issue in the Bronze Age on the island of Sardinia. Unique architectural monuments “Nuraghe” have reviewed, which are listed in the UNESCO cultural heritage. The search of historical data of an origin of the indigenous population of the island, its place in developing insular cultures of the Mediterranean basin and the relationships with other population, has been given. On the basis of surveys and reconstructions, the space planning design of Nuraghes, its constructive basis and building materials have been examined. Conclusions demonstrate the high level of development of the Nuraghic culture on the basis of satisfactorily preserved fragments of the monuments of this period on the island and artifacts, which were presented by archaeologists.
