FORMATION OF MEDITERRANIAN ISLAND ARCHITECTURE IN HISTORICAL RETROSPECTIVE PART 4.CHALCOLITOS PERIOD (THE BRAZEN AGE)

In the present article author continues to examine the changes in construction and town building process of chalcolitos and copper-stone age on Mediterranean islands of Cyprus and Sardinia. The most significant monuments of this period are reconstructed settlement Lempa and zikkurat  Sanctuary Monte d’Accodi. The results of the analysis show the significant civilization progress of tribes occupying these islands from the point of view of construction technologies. Chalkolitos is presented as intermediate period to the Bronze Age.
