Article ARCHITECTURAL MONUMENTS OF SYRIA AND THE CONCEPT OF THE «THIRD PLACE»

AbstractThe destruction of Syrian cities and historical sites is a phenomenon that requires immediate intervention, and the return to a peaceful life of the population creates conditions for the development of new concepts for the renovation of the urban environment, which is steadily developing over time. The article examines the need for the development of effective methods for the formation of open urban spaces for social interaction of the population, the author also proposes his own classification of the museums in Syria and identifies the problems of museification of archaeological sites.
