Article TRENDS IN THE ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN OF MOSCOW METRO STATIONS (2000–2020)

AbstractIn connection with the processes of globalization and the expansion of economic relations, the public transport infrastructure is actively developing in the world. The requirements for the comfort and safety of passenger transportation are increasing. In Moscow, the period from 2000 to the present is characterized by an intensification of the pace of construction and an increase in the metro network. The metro infrastructure is a well-developed system of buildings and structures that allows you to move around the city without delay, bringing together people living on a huge territory. The Moscow Metro plays a leading role in the urban public transport system due to the large volume of traffic. Therefore, the design trends of the modern metro require careful consideration.
