Abstract The study is related to the analysis of the development of the theory of complex proportioning in architectural shaping and design. Considers the problem urgent crises as between the theoretical and instrumental-practical component of proporcionaria as modern science. The research methodology consists of the formation of a system of methods and principles of finding proportional relationships between the "Golden section" and other constants, which allows to identify the relationship between them in the world. The methodology allows us to consider the proportion in design and architecture as a separate science (or scientific direction) with the existing scientific-theoretical and instrumental base. The novelty of the study is in the search for previously unknown ratios of the "Golden section" with other constant values, the identification of patterns expressed in the form of formulas. These structures are mostly linear in nature, but in the future such a proportionation, made with the help of computer technology, can get a new pulse to the development of its tool base in order to describe in detail, to follow and to apply the system of harmonization of spatial compositions in the design of the architectural environment. As a result, the missing link between the theory and practice of proportionation as an independent direction of research within the framework of formation and harmonization of architectural space can be found.
