Abstract	The article discusses objects designed by architects Arkady Langman and Lazar Cherikover in Moscow from 1927 to 1951. Analyzed unique architectural solutions of residential housing, developed by Langman and Cherikover during the period of their joint practice at the Stroydomburo organization. The author focuses on the residential complex for NKVD employees in the Bolshoy Zlatoustinskiy Lane. Features of the internal structure of apartments are described in the article. The plan of the residential sections of the complex for NKVD employees, as well as photographs from Ivan Shevelev’s private archive, are published for the first time.
