Article UNEVENLY-ZONED CITY MODEL DEVELOPMENT (VLADIVOSTOK CITY CASE STUDY)

Abstract The article is devoted to the identification of the spatial structure of the city based on the analysis of the distribution of the city according to the open geospatial data of the information space of the city according to the theory of uneven-zoned model. The use of algorithmic modeling methods in the study and the use of alternative urban data allows to obtain scientifically sound knowledge about the situation of design and management, as well as to provide forecasting of the directions of the evolutionary development of the city. Alternative city data provide up-to-date information about the social and physical space of the city, and the use of algorithmic methods implemented with the help of visual programming language, allow to automate data processing and ensure the accuracy of the model. In the course of the study the following tasks were implemented: refinement of the methodology for identifying the uneven-zoned structure of the city for algorithmic methods and available types of urban data of the information space of the city of Vladivostok; identification of areas with the function of centrality and determination of the centres of nodal regions; defining the boundaries of the nodal regions; the proposed classification of nodal districts of the city of Vladivostok and the prediction directions of development.
