Article EVOLUTION OF THE COLORISTIC ENVIRONMENT OF NOVOSIBIRSK (FOR EXAMPLE, HISTORIC CORES)

Abstract The article considers evolution of the coloristic environment of Novosibirsk . The relevance of the topic is due to the fact that at the moment in the historical core of the city is dominated by gray color. Sociological surveys of Novosibirsk guests showed that 65% of respondents consider the city to be achromatic. Semantics of gray color – "dullness ", exerts psychological pressure on the townspeople. Novosibirsk is a relatively young city (founded in 1903), which makes it possible to trace the history of the formation of the architectural environment practically from the moment of its appearance. Based on the foreign and domestic experience in the field of the formation of the city's coloristics, the author makes a conclusion about the necessary correction of the color of the historical nucleus of Novosibirsk.
