Article THE FEATURES OF FORM-BUILDING OF ARCHITECTURAL OBJECTS BASED ON MEMBRANE SYSTEMS

Abstract The article describes the features of the form-building of architectural objects based on membrane systems, presented as a class of structures obtained by working together flexible insulating material covering and supporting structures. Considered realized objects of membrane architecture of international practice (late XIX - early XX centuries), conducted their analysis by criteria, there are adaptability, as the ability to move and adapt to certain conditions, the curvature of the coating and the conditions of its interaction of the material with the supporting structure, the stationary operation of the object, its sustainability and colour decision.
