| Abstract |
The orthogonal net is considered as a mean of construction of the architectural space and the architectural form. The net can be used in an architectural project in two main ways:
1. as a mean of construction of material structure (framework).
2. as a sense of architectural space, its formation and further development.
This theme is presented from the ancient times till its deep and diverse development in the works of Ivan Leonidov.
