| Abstract |
In the development of ideas about architectural scale Polish architect practitioner and a theorist Jan Maas played a prominent role. In 60-ies of the past century he put forward a number of provisions that significantly raised the architectural thought towards the subject. The article discusses the content and novelty, which has not lost its relevance in the current situation, significant shifts in the artistic language of architecture on the background of recent cultural mentality.
