Abstract | The network design is widely and fast developing method for the organization of architectural practice. Sometimes it is even a requirement of architectural competitions - to work in project consortia. The specific feature for the network design is a flexible and open organizational structure of independent participants. This form of collaboration especially suits unique architectural projects that require innovative solutions and implementation of interdisciplinary research work. Metaphorically speaking an architect plays the role of film director who gives roles and then coordinates interaction between actors. Creating a team of professionals for the duration of the project, temporary association of companies and professionals help to arrange work for the next assignment, make it easy to reconnect and start work with reliable partners.
