| Abstract |
The article through the example of the "Museum of Confluence" by Coop Himmelb(l)au in Lyon, contemplates "light" as a picturesque tool through the prism of poetics, revealing not only the technically important functional properties, aimed at the identifying of the space at darkness hours, but focusing on those properties that appeal to the modelling of the final icon through the shadow and light language.
