Abstract | The article is devoted to a critical analysis of the arguments, contained in the study of Adolf Zeising - the founder of the hypothesis of the "golden section". Is checked the dimensions and proportions of statues, paintings and monuments. Revealed, that the actual proportion of works of art correspond to the proportion of the "golden section" with numerous errors. It is postulated, that the "gold" hypothesis A. Zeising should recognize questionable. Questionable and should be recognized as the inclusion of the hypothesis of "golden section" in a variety of teaching materials of schools and universities. | ||||
