Article METHOD “SUPERIMPOSITION” OF THE CZECH CUBISM AND “DECONSTRUCTION” OF THE ARCHITECTURE OF SECOND HALF OF XX-th CENTURY: ANALOGIES AND DIFFERENCES
Authors O. Zavolokina, Moscow Institute of Architecture (State Academy), Moscow, Russia
Abstract At the beginning of XX-th century the Czech Cubists architects developed a new methodology for shaping. In its basis – a method of “superimposition”, which is to build a new facility by moving the existing surrounding context to plan and facade. In the stages and receptions the method of "superposition" in many ways is similar to the "deconstruction", which has developed in the architecture of the second half of the XX-th century. Common to these methods are reception collage (citing) and geometric constructions (syntactic transformations) that architects use to build the form.
