Abstract |
The article focuses on the disclosure of the values of space-spatial characteristics of residential structures, formed a natural historical path in the Armenian highlands. The research is based on the method of expert assessments that identify the importance of the considered spatial elements for the modern man through the prism of social - psychological, visual and behavioral needs.
Object of the study was the fragments of the traditional residential areas in the historic centers of cities on the Armenian Plateau, mainly in Yerevan and Tbilisi. The subject of the study was the relationship and interaction of spatial characteristics and rights. The research methodology involves a comprehensive approach based on empirical studies of archival sources, the method of expert evaluations, as well as an empirical approach based on digital signal processing and graphical-analytical studies of traditional residential units. This study is very relevant in the context of the phenomenological paradigm of sustainable development because it is assumed that in the three - dimensional model that has developed a natural historical path laid down certain principles favorable to life processes. The results of the study will review the approach to the organization of residential environment, both at the conceptual and project level, in terms of reconstruction, as well as to develop a methodological character design. |
