Abstract |
In the article describes the traditional values expressed in the space - planning characteristics, formed as a result of the natural evolution of residential education at the example of the Armenian Plateau. Also, in the article, we investigate the value of its characteristics in the context of the impact on human and use in contemporary practice.
Author's opinion, this study is very relevant in the context of traditional values within the phenomenological paradigm and the concept of «sustainable development». Spatial characteristics of these formations are of great interest to architectural theory and practice, since their amazing resilience. This implies not a meaningless pastiche or interpretation of bygone forms, and the identification of spatial values, consideration of which, the author believes, will improve the quality of modern living environment. The research methodology is based on an integrated method for graph-analytical studies using the technique of mapping and structural analysis. The objects of study served as residential structures surviving in its natural state, in view of their low strain during the industrial revolution, the beginning of XIX century, the territory of modern Georgia and Armenia. The obtained values, as reflected in the spatial - planning features will greatly enrich the language palette of the architect, as well as to identify ways to improve the current living environment. The obtained structural patterns forming will greatly enrich the language palette of the architect and, through interpretation, to identify ways to improve the current living environment. |
