| Abstract |
The development of tourism in cities cause the formation of a spatial environment of the city area of tourism routes, intense tourist traffic and tourist sites of concentration in locations of historical and architectural moments, unique objects of culture, art. To develop tourism in the cities of Iran should study this effect, as well as the definition of the permissible degree of transformation of elements of functional planning structure of the city in zones of concentration of tourism. It should also identify architectural and planning techniques for organizing zones of tourist activities. The object of this study is the architectural and spatial structure of the major Iranian historical city, considered as an environment in which the tourist activities are developed. The elements of functional planning structure of such cities and processes of its transformation under the impact of tourist activities are investigated. The objective is - to develop architectural and planning principles and methods of formation of zones of active tourism activities in the structure of major historical city of Iran. |
